Commissioning of Graceland Orchards' Lemon Project in Yikitaa, Makueni County

In March & September 2023, Ajira Africa in conjunction with Graceland Orchards visited Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization, Matuga Station in Kwale. KARLO Matuga deals largely in citrus fruits. Mrs. Anne Kiguru, Ajira Africa Chairperson was accompanied by the CEO of Graceland Orchards, Ms. Esther Muthoni.

Graceland Orchards CEO together with an agronomist at KARLO Matuga, Kwale as they inspect lemon seedlings.

Ready seedlings for planting which were distributed to the farmers in Kwale and Kilifi in June 2024.

Following the visit, Ajira Africa in conjunction with Graceland Orchards Ltd purchased 10,000 lemon tree seedlings to be distributed to farmers in Kwale and Kilifi.
